Cohousing communities are intentional, collaborative neighborhoods designed by its future residents, with an ownership structure similar to condominiums. It combines extensive common facilities with private homes to a create robust and successful housing development. If you want solitude, your home is your private domain with features like any typical home. If you want community, step outside or into the “common house,” with a kitchen and dining seating for community meals, meetings, and gatherings.
On April 8, 2018, 12:15-1 pm there will be an opportunity to learn more about this concept from Lynne Molnar, who lived in cohousing for 12 years in Cambridge, MA, and is wondering about its possibilities in this area. Check out – www.cohousing.org and feel free to contact her directly.
