The Racial Justice Book Group held its first of four meetings Monday, February 13, focusing on The Third Reconstruction: How a Moral Movement is Overcoming the Politics of Division and Fear, by The Rev. Dr. William Barber II and Jonathan Wilson-Hartgrove. A total of 19 participants discussed Reverend Barber’s “blueprint for movement building” and specific ways to continue to grow and sustain a racial justice movement among other topics.
We will be meeting Monday, May 8 to discuss The Underground Railroad, by Colson Whitehead. Please contact Lynne Molnar if you are interested in attending.

The Third Reconstruction: How a Moral Movement is Overcoming the Politics of Division and Fear, is the Unitarian Universalist Association’s Common Read for 2016-2017. CFA will be holding another book discussion later this spring (date to be announced).
