Each month, UUCWC celebrates a theme with opportunities for you to deepen your connection within, among and beyond our community.  The theme for this month is “Cultivating Compassion”.

  • UUFaith Action NJ, our NJ Statewide Action Network, is hosting their Fall Issues Conference- “Meet the Moment” on October 18th featuring a keynote on the role of faith-based social justice advocacy. 10am-1pm happening in person at UU Princeton and online.   • Council for Faith in Action: Four times a year leaders from our church’s justice ministry teams meet to collaborate and report on their efforts. These meetings are open to all members of our UUCWC community! We will be meeting in person at the church and online. Please email Rev. Lisa to RSVP or with any questions: LSchilansky@uucwc.org. Wednesday October 22nd, 7:30-9pm.
  • Climate Justice Action Discussion – Sun., Nov. 2 11:30-12:30. What is climate justice? How can UUCWC best advance this intersectional justice in our local communities, particularly vulnerable ones? Join us to hear the outcomes of the recent congregational Climate Justice Revival Dialogues, sponsored by our Council for Faith in Action. Contribute your ideas to prioritize the selection of community-facing church actions, including building climate resilience through disaster response assistance.   • Weekly Protest in Hopewell Borough: Every Thursday, 5:30-6:30pm, corner of Greenwood Ave and Broad St. UUCWC members are there every week!
