In these volatile times, we are called to know and proclaim our radical theology for the sake of all people. On this Sunday we learn what that sounds like regarding trans and non-binary lives. In this moment when a prophetic answer is so sorely needed, what does our faith call us to do?
We will be joined by guest musician Erica Stockton.
Erica Stockton is clarinetist, teaching artist, and arts administrator active in the Philadelphia area. Erica is the Executive Director of the Youth Orchestra of Bucks County, where she has served in various capacities since 2014. Passionate about both performance and education, she also maintains a vibrant private studio of clarinet and piano students. She is an advocate for accessible music education and outreach, and has traveled to Belize, El Salvador, and Antigua to support youth orchestra programs, teach, and perform. Erica currently is the Principal Clarinet of the Bucks County Symphony Orchestra and greatly enjoys performing with friends and colleagues in the Bucks County area. She studied under Tommy Thompson at Carnegie Mellon University and Ronald Aufmann at the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music and has received additional training through the Lincoln Center Teaching Artist Training Lab and the Essentials of Orchestra Management immersive program.
