June is fast approaching, and the UUA General Assembly (GA) in Baltimore, June 18-22, is just a train ride away—or you can attend virtually. We need delegates, and this is the final call. There’s still time to register.
GA is a powerful event filled with worship, workshops, social action, and insights into our faith’s global impact. This year, we’ll vote on a new moderator (or team), Actions of Immediate Witness, and more.
UUCWC is entitled to six delegates, and we currently have three confirmed. Why not join? It’s a meaningful way to engage with our congregation and connect with the broader UU community.
Scholarships are available. First time early registrants receive an additional $100 off the price. This, and a UUCWC scholarship (if you are a delegate), can help make GA affordable.
Delegate Guidelines:
- Attend in person or participate in business meetings only (no workshops or Ware Lecture).
- Limited grants are available to help offset expenses.
- Must be UUCWC members for at least two years, familiar with the congregation, and willing to educate themselves on GA topics.
- Expected to attend all GA general sessions, participate in discussions, and vote on behalf of UUCWC.
Past delegates returned energized and inspired. Reach out to Maria Baratta, Heather Edwards, Jane Root, Jim Sanders, Eileen Spedding, or Dan Tuft to hear about their experiences.
