Rev. Kimberly Wildszewski, Senior Minister

The Rev. Kim Wildszewski, our 17th settled minister, began serving UUCWC in August of 2014. 

A lifelong UU from eastern Long Island, Kim holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Creative Writing and Religion from Susquehanna University, PA, and a Master of Divinity from Union Theological Seminary in New York City. Before serving UUCWC, Kim was the Minister of Congregational Life at Beacon UU Congregation in Summit, NJ.

Kim and her wife, Tara, a Program Analyst for a social policy firm, live in Titusville, NJ. Their son Tobias was born in 2015. Their son Malcolm, born in 2018, died in 2020. Their son, Otis, was born in 2021.

Rev. Kim shares that “It has been my joy to serve UUCWC. We challenge one another, love one another, and grow together in ways that I couldn’t have imagined. Lisa Schilansky, Ministerial Resident, 2023-2025

Lisa Shilansky is a proud member of First Unitarian Church of Philadelphia. Lisa will be graduating from United Theological Seminary of the Twin Cities April 2023 and is a candidate for ministry with the Unitarian Universalist Association. Lisa has been a social worker for the past ten years and currently works as a therapist serving primarily LGBTQ young adults. Lisa was raised secularly Jewish and now considers herself dual faith. She lives in Philly with her spouse Molly and their two cats.  Lisa joins UUCWC for a two year, half-time, residency (August ’23-June ’24; August ’24-June ’25).

 

Robin Pugh, Director of Congregational Life

Robin Pugh has been a UU religious educator since 2000 and at UUCWC since 2009.  She completed all ten UU Faith Development  Renaissance training modules and is credentialed by the UUA. She is active in her professional association, LREDA and is a past Vice- President. She is also a certified Spiritual Director. 

Robin and her husband, Bill, have three young adult sons, a Labrador retriever named Parker Palmer and two cats.  Robin has a BA from Tufts University and a JD from Fordham Law School.  Robin loves to be with children, youth, and adults and to connect them to ways they can grow their Unitarian Universalist faith.

 

AccompanistDr. Erin Busch, Director of Music Ministry

Erin Busch is a composer and cellist recently awarded her Ph.D in composition at the University of Pennsylvania. Prior to beginning her Ph.D, Erin was an adjunct professor of music theory and composition at Temple University, where she received her B.M. in composition and M.M. in composition and cello performance. She served as UUCWC’s Accompanist for about four years while she was studying composition and cello, and teaching at Temple.

Recently named one of Yamaha’s 40 under 40 music educators, Erin is the founder and Artistic Director of the Wildflowers Composers Festival, a two–week music composition festival for students who identify as female or nonbinary. She has been commissioned by and performed with the Albany (NY) Symphony, the Philadelphia Orchestra String Quartet, the TAK Ensemble, the Philadelphia Charter – A String Theory School, Matthew Levy of the PRISM Quartet, and Network for New Music. Recent projects include a string quartet commission from cellist Yumi Kendall of the Philadelphia Orchestra, a new work for the 2021 Composers Conference as a Fromm Foundation Composer Fellow, and a percussion quartet for Sō Percussion. She maintains a freelance career as a cellist, and performs with local ensembles such as the Arcana New Music Ensemble and the Philly Pops.

 

Julie Rigano, Director of Family Ministry

Julie Rigano (she&they) is a lifelong UU with years of church experience at multiple congregations, including the Unitarian Universalist Society of Schenectady, First Unitarian Church of Philadelphia, and as the church administrator for the UU Church in Cherry Hill. They also serve as the Communications Chair for the national Faith Development Week conference at Star Island, NH. Julie lives in Philadelphia with her wonderful roommates and beloved cat. 

 

 

Marilyn Gonzalez, Church Administrator

Marilyn Gonzalez has been a UU since 2008 when she joined the UU Congregation of Fairfax in Oakton, VA. At UUCF, Marilyn was an active member, as well as the Volunteer Coordinator before she moved to Westfield, NJ in 2013.

Originally from New York, Marilyn is mother to two wonderful children, Marisa and Isaac (Ike), who are both in college, and lives at home with her dog, Ben. She holds a degree in Communications from Iona University and has a background in the television and radio industry. She is an avid international soccer fan, loves watching movies, and enjoys travel. Marilyn is happy for the opportunity to reconnect with her Unitarian Universalist faith.

 

Lynne Quinto, Controller

Lynne Quinto was hired as UUCWC’s first part-time Controller in March 2022. She first became acquainted with UUCWC in the spring of 2005, joining this caring community shortly after moving to New Jersey. She has held volunteer posts at UUCWC, including both as Finance Committee Chair for four years then as hands-on Board Treasurer for four years. Lynne was also involved with a variety of other groups at UUCWC, including the Communications Committee, the Council for Faith in Action, and was a co-chair of the Steering Committee for the UU Legislative Ministry of New Jersey (now UU FaithAction NJ), and served on its first Board.

Lynne is working remotely from Maryland, where she and her husband, Scott, have joined the UU Congregation of Rockville. After relocating, she is also continuing to work as an Office Manager/Bookkeeper for a small business in Pennington, a position that she has held since 2007. Lynne is grateful for the UUCWC community, and the role it played in the upbringing of now-grown children Graham and Casey, and is glad to be continuing her relationship with UUCWC as part of its staff.

 

Rachel Hansen, Office Assistant

Rachel Hansen served as UUCWC’s Office Assistant from 2017-2019, and was happy to return to the staff in 2021. She is also a regular attendee of UUCWC and sings in the Crossing Chorale.

Outside of UUCWC, Rachel works as a piano accompanist and astrologer, and relaxes by reading and doing embroidery. She shares a home with her husband Andrew, their dog Maggie, and their cats Lili and Vali. 

 

 

Ariel Schwartz, A/V Tech

Ariel is a museum interactive specialist as well as a television producer, having worked for many years for museums around the country. He loves to help museums translate their content in compelling experiences for visitors. Among his television productions is “A Taste of History” for PBS, and “Where in the World is Carmen Sandiego?.”

 

 

 

 

Roberto Santiago, Sunday Steward/Sexton
Roberto Santiago joined UUCWC as our Sunday Steward in 2015.  His friendly personality has made Sunday morning coffee hours a delight.  During the pandemic, he also took on the additional role of Church Sexton, bringing his knowledge and experience in facilities work to UUCWC. 

Roberto is tireless and is always hard at work in his many endeavors.  He is devoted to his family and enjoys swimming when he can.
