As members of your Board of Trustees, we again offer a warm welcome to Rev. Sue Goodwin, UUCWC’s Minister of Congregational Life!

The Minister of Congregational Life is a new position, so the Board would like to clarify Rev. Sue’s role and how it interfaces with Rev Kim’s role with the congregation.

Rev. Sue’s portfolio will encompass numerous areas of congregational life, including assisting with Membership and Leadership Development. Some days this will mean working with our Faith Forward program, other days our Nominating Committee, for example. In addition, Rev. Sue will preach one Sunday a month and assist in worship another Sunday each month (for a total of two Sundays) until the end of December. From January through April, she will preach three times a month and assist the Pastoral Care Ministry while Rev. Kim is on her sabbatical. Rev. Sue is part time, working a total of 20 hours per week including Sundays.

As Rev. Sue is Minister of Congregational Life, Rev. Kim’s new title is Senior Minister. We look forward to this new and exciting year together!
