The next UUCWC Outdoor Adventures hike is at The Watershed Institute in Pennington, NJ, on Sunday, March 17.
We will meet at the Watershed parking lot at 1:00pm. This is an accessible hike for most abilities, including wheelchairs.
We will hike the Boardwalk Trail that loops through wetland, forest, and meadows and past spring vernal pools. (Tadpoles are breeding now!) This is about a half-mile loop which can be leisurely completed in less than an hour. After the Boardwalk Trail, hikers will have the option to continue on paved paths along farm fields and meadows. Restrooms are available in the Environmental Education Center.
March can bring all kinds of unexpected weather, so if you plan to join the hike, please email Outdooradventures@uucwc.org so we can keep you informed in the event of inclement weather.
