Celebrate Life This Month at UUCWC

Each month, UUCWC celebrates a theme with opportunities for you to deepen your connection within, among and beyond our community. 

The theme for this month is “Nurturing Gratitude”.

Here are some ways to become a part of something larger this month:

  • November 16 – Guest Musician: Megnot Toggia, soprano Megnot Toggia returns to the sanctuary to sing for our Sunday service!  
  • November 19 – Vespers will continue! Due to popular demand, we are continuing our monthly contemplative worship service on Wednesday, November 19th, 7-8pm, in the sanctuary and on Zoom. Join Rev. Lisa for a night of meditative hymn singing, candle lighting, poetry, and stillness. Come steady your spirit, come ground for an hour, come just be. Link will be in the weekly.
  • November 23 – Featured Speaker: Jim Johnson – Join us as we invite American politician, attorney, and community activist, Jim Johnson, to our pulpit as part of our Fall Featured Speaker Series.
  • November 23 – Fourth Sunday Family Fun: Board Games – Every fourth Sunday, there will be an opportunity for Family Fun! Alternating between a craft project or playing board games, this month you’re invited to bring your favorite game to play and meet us in Room 102 during coffee hour!
  • November 30 – Super Sunday – a monthly gathering for students from K-12th grades, featuring an all-ages activity centered around a specific theme. These events take place during the full worship hour and provide a valuable chance for children and youth to connect and socialize across different age groups.
  • Save the Date! December 5th, 6-9 pm – Dinner and movie night in the Sanctuary! Bring your sleeping bags and friends!
  • Sunday Service Reflection: Every Sunday from 11:15am – 12:30pm in room 202 and online – Join Linda Hahola or Rab Bell for a facilitated conversation about the Sunday morning service.
  • Lectio Divina (Reading Poems Prayerfully), weekly on Thursdays, at 10:00am.  
  • Connect, Reflect, and Grow in a Monthly Small Group! You are invited to join a chalice circle at any time during the year. For more information, click here. Contact Robin Pugh at rpugh@uucwc.org
